A one-of-a-kind western heirloom piece, rebuilt from the frame up with craftsmanship, texture, and story in every detail.
This piece began with a frame worth saving, then was fully tightened, stripped, painted, and glazed to bring back its character while giving it a refined western finish. From there, it was rebuilt on a new foundation with all new foam and padding, creating a comfortable, lasting structure beneath the design.
The seat is upholstered in a soft, scratch-resistant and stain-resistant upholstery leather, chosen for both beauty and everyday durability. The arms are upholstered in Icelandic sheepskin, adding a rich layer of texture and warmth that makes the piece feel as luxurious as it is unique.
The inside back features a leather print of Frederic Remington’s iconic western work, A Dash for the Timber, bringing movement, history, and classic western storytelling into the design. Embossed cattle brand leather on the outside arms and outside back adds another layer of authenticity and craftsmanship, giving the chair a bold western identity from every angle.
Finished with antiqued decorative nailheads and set on its original porcelain caster wheels, this piece honors the history of the chair while transforming it into a functional work of western art.

This platform rocking chair was fully restored with care, preserving the integrity of the original frame while giving the piece new life as a functional work of western art. The frame was tightened, stripped, stained, and refinished, allowing the richness of the woodwork, barley twist details, and original wooden casters to shine again.
Built on a new foundation with all new foam and padding, the chair was restored for both beauty and comfort. The upholstery features hand-tooled sunflower and scroll leatherwork, carved and tooled by Cody, creating a one-of-a-kind design that brings warmth, movement, and western craftsmanship to every angle of the piece.
The arms and headrest are finished in soft chocolate genuine leather, adding a smooth contrast to the tooled leather and making the chair feel as inviting as it is striking. Decorative nailheads complete the design, giving the piece a polished, timeless finish.
